Bio

One of the industry’s most flamboyant musical discoveries of the last decade, Baby Dee is an enchanting song writer, classically trained harpist, circus sideshow veteran, and transgender street legend. Her infectious cackle and extraordinary talent on piano, harp and accordion has caught her many musical admirers including Will Oldham, Matt Sweeney, Maxim Moston, and Andrew WK, all of whom have produced unique and magnificent albums for her. She has toured extensively with Current 93 and Marc Almond.

Her latest release — STATE OF GRACE — a collaboration with punky glam chanteuse, Little Annie, is out now on Tin Angel Records. Look for her newest venture, due the summer of 2013 — THE BIG BUMBLE BEES — a return to her roots as an organist, rocking out on the Hammond B3 with oud player Eliot Bates.
