Who'd have thought Baby Dee would make it into Vogue Italia? Well, she did, or at least part of her did. The occassion? Italian fashion designer Fabio Quaranta's 2011-2012 fall winter collection, that was inspired by David Tibet's artwork for Current 93's 2009 album Aleph at Hallucinatory Mountain.

Vogue Accessory, Italy, spring 2011 - Some pieces of the collection "The hallucinatory Mountain", created by Fabio Quaranta and presented at Pitti Immagine Uomo.

Fabio Quaranta, who won the 2010 edition of Who is on next? Uomo in the prêt-à-porter category, was selected by The Fondazione Pitti Discovery as the New Performer for Pitti Uomo 79.

Fabio Quaranta:

This new collection with my signature is sort of a rebirth for me. Its mood will be called "The Hallucinatory Mountain", and it was inspired by "Aleph at Hallucinatory Mountain", a 2009 recording by the Current 93 – an eclectic British experimental band, active since the ‘80s - whose members agreed to help with the collection: David Tibet is the visual artist and Baby Dee will play during my performance.

Fabio Quaranta presented his collection on January 12, 2011 at the Pitti Fashion show in Florence. Current 93, for this occassion consisting of David Tibet, who also designed T-shirts for the collection, Andrew Liles, and Baby Dee, played a short set to accompany the models on the catwalk.
